About the role

Perform duties as a lecturer in Performance curriculum at the Faculty of Communication Arts, Dhurakij Pundit University. Teach courses in performance and related subjects in communication and performance across traditional media, online media, digital media, and new platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design teaching and learning that connects performance with content production, digital identity creation, online platform communication, and real-world industry work
• Promote students' ability to use AI and digital technology as tools for designing, creating, experimenting with, and managing performance work ethically and appropriately
• Mentor, train, and advise students in developing performance skills, personality, communication, creative work, and portfolio preparation to prepare them for career pathways
• Conduct research, creative work, academic services, and/or academic work related to performance, performance communication, digital media, and the creative industry
• Participate in curriculum development, curriculum activities, faculty activities, and university activities, as well as other assigned work
• Teach courses in performance and related communication and performance subjects in both traditional and digital media contexts, online media, and new platforms

About you

• Master's degree or higher in Communication Arts, Fine Arts, Drama, Performance, Digital Media, or related fields
• At least 2 years of work experience in performance, performance direction, performance training, creative performance work, or content production related to performance
• Ability to teach and develop performance skills across multiple formats and platforms, including stage performance, on-camera performance, online media performance, short video content performance, live streaming performance, digital media performance, and hybrid/virtual performance
• Understanding of the current context of media, performance, and digital content industries, and ability to connect teaching with real-world industry work
• Ability to use or apply AI and digital tools in designing and managing performance work, such as script analysis, character design, performance structure planning, basic set or atmosphere design, production planning, pre-visualization, and creation of performance support media
• Skills in mentoring, caring for, and developing student potential in performance skills, personality, creativity, creative work, and preparation for real-world work
• Expertise in creating performance content in digital media (Content Creator, Influencer, YouTuber, TikToker, Live Creator, or online platform content producer) will be given special consideration
• Experience or expertise in international-level performance, collaboration with international networks, or ability to teach/communicate in English will be given special consideration
