Account Manager - Employee Benefits

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for day‑to‑day relationship management of renewal clients, optimisation of renewal proposals and assisting clients with policy placement.

·Develop and manage new client portfolios. Identify client requirements, formulate tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs, and build solid long‑term business partnerships with clients.

·Handle matters relating to client policy placement, provide timely progress updates and follow‑up on subsequent workflows.

·Maintain effective communication with insurance underwriters. Be familiar with insurer underwriting requirements and claims procedures, and independently resolve issues raised by clients and insurance providers.

·Organise training sessions on policy coverage and claims workflows. Assist clients in mastering online claims tools and written claim application forms; coordinate and respond to client enquiries.

·Support the implementation of innovative business models for the company or department, including business system requirements and internal‑external coordination for digital operations.

·Collaborate closely with internal operation support teams, participate in and support departmental marketing initiatives.

·Perform other ad‑hoc duties assigned by company and department management.

Requirements:

·At least 5 years working experience within Hong Kong insurance carriers or insurance intermediaries.

·Professional Competencies & Personal Attributes:

·Hold valid Hong Kong Insurance Intermediaries Licences (Licence Numbers 1, 2 & 3).

·Proficient in common office software and PowerPoint presentation production.

·Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s degree preferred)

·Team player with positive attitude and strong communication skill.

·Familiar with Chinese type writing.

·Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
