About the role

This is a production management role based in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand, responsible for overseeing daily production operations, managing a team of 30-40 Thai and Chinese production line staff, and ensuring quality standards and on-time delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange daily production tasks according to the Master Schedule to ensure timely, quality, and quantity-compliant delivery targets
• Manage 30-40 Thai and Chinese production line employees, overseeing attendance, scheduling, on-site discipline, and on-the-job training (OJT) for new staff
• Strictly implement SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), monitor quality data during production (first-pass yield, defect rates), and immediately stop production, report, and organize rapid troubleshooting for any abnormalities such as appearance defects or dimensional deviations
• Manage 5S in the workshop (sorting, organizing, cleaning, standardizing, and sustaining) to ensure a safe and orderly work environment, and lead small continuous improvement activities based on Lean Manufacturing principles
• Act as a communication bridge between Chinese management and Thai front-line staff, accurately conveying production instructions and efficiently reporting issues such as material shortages, equipment failures, and employee feedback to supervisors
• Control material losses on the production line (such as auxiliary materials and packaging materials), reduce scrap caused by improper operation, and assist in compiling daily production reports

About you

• Associate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of production line management experience in manufacturing industries (electronic assembly, metal processing, home appliances, new energy, etc.); experience as a group leader, line leader, or shift supervisor is preferred
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 4 or above, or with study/work experience in China) to communicate without barriers with Chinese supervisors/managers
• Able to use Thai for daily command and basic communication; ability to read Thai production documents is preferred
• Basic proficiency in office software (Excel/Word) and ability to create simple production reports
• Familiarity with basic quality control tools (such as QC Seven Tools) or Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred
• Strong stress management and execution capability; ability to adapt to Thailand's overtime culture and Saturday work schedules (subject to company policy)
• Calm temperament, patient, and skilled at handling complex labor issues (such as employee conflicts and correcting work habits)
• Basic English reading and writing ability is a plus
