Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate detailed production schedules by analysing order requirements, available capacity, and material availability to ensure smooth and timely production processes.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and inventory departments to synchronise activities and optimise resource utilisation.
• Monitor production progress against the plan, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of production plans, updates, and any deviations, reporting key metrics to management regularly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting refinements in production planning processes and tools.
• Assist in forecasting production needs based on sales trends, market demand, and historical data to support strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout the planning stages.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in production planning or a similar role within manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in using planning software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
