• Lead the development, validation, and release of mechanical and mechatronic products for the APAC market.
• Review engineering drawings, conduct sample measurements, coordinate testing activities, and prepare product release documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ZF technical specifications and support product validation and approval processes.
• Track project progress, monitor corrective actions, and drive closure of open issues resulting from design reviews.
• Review and approve engineering change requests and supplier drawing modifications.
• Support DFMEA and PFMEA reviews to ensure robust product and process quality.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Product Management.
• Collaborate with suppliers, global competency centers, and OEM engineering teams while supporting supplier audits and new supplier assessments. Your Profile as Product Engineer:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechatronic Control Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product development, preferably within mechatronic products.
• Experience with sensors, solenoid valves, e-compressors, EPB actuators, electric motors, e-water pumps, or similar automotive systems is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of product design, materials, manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and measurement/testing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and engineering change management.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related documentation systems.
