About the role

Responsible for the company's product technology planning, construction and management. Lead the technology team to build digitalized Chinese classical culture content, community and commercialized products. Drive the integration of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data and other technologies with Chinese classical culture scenarios to support rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate company technology development strategy, technology roadmap and system architecture to ensure technical solutions support business objectives
• Oversee research and development of Web, mobile, mini-programs, backend systems, data platforms and AI applications, delivering on time and to quality standards
• Build and manage technology teams, develop and interface with technology outsourcing service teams, control outsourcing delivery quality, clarify division of labor, training, performance evaluation and incentive mechanisms to improve efficiency
• Responsible for system stability, performance, network security, data backup and disaster recovery to ensure compliance
• Comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and related regulations to protect user data and content copyright
• Collaborate with product, operations, content, marketing and finance departments to drive business implementation
• Track new technologies including AI, big data, blockchain, audio and video, and explore innovative scenarios for Chinese classical culture digitalization
• Manage technology budget, procurement, external suppliers and partners
• Report technology progress, risks and resource requirements to management and participate in major company decisions

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
• 8+ years of internet technology research and development experience, 3+ years of technology team management experience; prior experience as Technology Director, R&D Director, Architect or equivalent position is preferred
• Proficient in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Go, Node.js, etc.) and mainstream frameworks
• Proficient in frontend technologies (React, Vue, etc.) and mobile/mini-program development
• Familiar with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, etc.), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD
• Familiar with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.), microservices, API design and data analysis
• Practical application experience with AI/large language models, recommendation algorithms, knowledge graphs is preferred
• Experience building content platforms, online education, community, e-commerce, live streaming/audio-video, or membership-based products from 0 to 1 or at scale
• Capability in team building, objective management (OKR/KPI), agile development, cross-regional collaboration and talent development
• Familiar with Hong Kong internet market, user habits, payment channels, cloud services and related regulations; able to collaborate with mainland and overseas teams
