About the role

Elevate strategic procurement with a focus on analyzing cost structures, managing procurement of goods and suppliers both domestically and internationally, negotiating for maximum value, and presenting solutions to reduce organizational costs sustainably while maintaining high quality and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and assess cost structures of goods, raw materials, services, and transportation/logistics to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve spending efficiency
• Establish and implement cost reduction strategies to achieve company KPIs
• Present new alternatives such as new suppliers, substitute raw materials, or strategic procurement methods to achieve maximum cost savings
• Monitor and analyze market conditions, price trends of goods/raw materials, and supply chain risks to plan procurement efficiently in advance
• Source, select, and evaluate the potential of new suppliers both domestically and internationally
• Conduct price negotiations, payment terms, warranties, and commercial agreements to protect organizational interests
• Prepare and compare quotations systematically and transparently
• Build and maintain good relationships with key trading partners for long-term negotiation benefits
• Prepare and review procurement contracts for completeness and regulatory compliance
• Regularly evaluate supplier performance (Supplier Performance / SLA)
• Compile, analyze, and prepare cost savings reports for monthly and quarterly presentation to management

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Petrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement/sourcing or cost analysis
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
• Proficient in business software and ERP programs (such as Express, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise (formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Meticulous, accurate, honest, and highly responsible
• Understanding and experience applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Should-Cost Modeling for appropriate pricing assessment of goods and chemicals
• Knowledge of international trade agreements (Incoterms 2020), long-term purchase contracts, and industrial product warranty conditions
• Ability to use data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or data visualization for management reporting (preferred)
• Good to excellent English communication and negotiation skills for foreign supplier contact and negotiation
• Able to commute to work independently (no employee shuttle service)
