About the role

This role involves overseeing construction projects from planning through completion, managing timelines, budgets, quality standards, and site operations while coordinating between project owners, contractors, and relevant agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work, develop work plans, and control projects to meet deadlines
• Manage budgets and control construction costs to prevent overruns
• Monitor quality by inspecting construction work to ensure compliance with architectural and engineering standards
• Manage site operations, oversee safety, and ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and labour
• Coordinate between project owners, contractors, and relevant agencies
• Report project progress, status, issues, and solutions to project owners regularly
• Pre-construction: review plans, estimate costs, plan hiring, prepare contract documents
• During construction: supervise daily work, resolve site issues, approve payment instalments, control quality
• Project closure: inspect final work (Punch List), hand over project, prepare handover documentation

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Negotiation skills
• Valid driver's license
• Good ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to travel to other provinces for site inspections, surveys, and client meetings
• Ability to read plans well
• Professional engineering license (preferred)
• Attention to detail, enthusiasm, and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as a team and coordinate with relevant departments
