About the role

This role involves managing accounts receivable operations, including invoice and billing document preparation, sales and receivables record verification, payment follow-up, and financial reconciliation. You will prepare aging reports, investigate discrepancies, coordinate across departments, and maintain comprehensive documentation while reporting on receivables status to management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, billing documents, and related accounts receivable documentation
• Record and verify sales and receivables transactions in the accounting system accurately
• Follow up on outstanding balances and coordinate with customers regarding payments
• Verify and record customer payments received
• Reconcile cash receipts with accounts receivable records accurately
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and AR aging analysis
• Verify documents and investigate outstanding balance and discrepancy issues
• Coordinate with sales, accounting, and related departments
• Maintain complete accounts receivable documentation with full audit trail capability
• Prepare reports and summarise accounts receivable status for management

About you

• Age 22–40 years
• Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in accounts receivable (AR) is highly valued
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP software
• Foundational knowledge of accounts receivable and value-added tax
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong document verification skills
• Skilled in task follow-up and customer coordination
• Responsible, punctual, and committed to maintaining company confidentiality
• Able to work under pressure and meet accounting close deadlines
