About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Individual Contributor (manager) to join our Operations team and support Credo's rapidly growing optical products business. This position will report to AVP operations and will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, cost reduction initiatives, and supply assurance for critical materials and services. The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement expertise, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Optical Module or AOC related industry background is preferred.

Responsibilities】

1. Support the procurement for the New Product Introduction (NPI) process of optical related products such as optical transceiver/AOC. Full support from prototype to mass run projects affecting sourcing decisions. Drive NPI sourcing at Credo’s suppliers, including Contract Manufacturers.
2. Maintain the key supplier list, introducing the strategy suppliers and 2nd source, to establish the supplying safety.
3. Monitor current commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges. Develop, implement and communicate tactical and strategic commodity plans internally.
4. Maintain the outsourcing resource, such as PCBA and mechanical parts designing house in the market, provide solid support for the new product development.
5. Provide the support for non-production purchasing, such as logistics, tooling, equipment, to help organization to control the operation cost.
6. Responsible for contracting supplier commercial agreements, including NDA, project developing contract, inventory management, VMI, Scheduling Agreement, etc. Collect and maintain capabilities and capacities of suppliers to avoid constraints.
7. Maintain the BOM cost regular, and lead the regular cost reviewing with suppliers, take the responsible of safety inventory management, risk buy liability controlling.
8. Identify the VAVE opportunity with supplier for major commodity and product to realize VAVE saving for procurement function.
9. Establish the standard process of materials quotation, purchasing, supplier management, to improve the efficiency of the supplying.
10. Support/training suppliers ‘purchasing team, to let them follow Credo’s standard and rule for materials purchasing of Credo products.

【Requirement】

1. Hands-on Experience in the optical communications industry is highly preferred , including optical transceivers, AOCs, optical components, or related products, is strongly preferred.particularly with optical transceivers, AOCs, optical components, or related products.
2. Minimum 8 years of procurement, sourcing, materials management, or supply chain experience in the ICT, telecommunications, networking, electronics, or related industries.
3. Prior experience working with EMS, OEM, or ODM manufacturers is required, with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain execution.
4. Proven experience in supplier selection, supplier management, commercial negotiations, cost reduction, and supply risk mitigation.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical commodities, including PCBs, plastics, sheet metal, machining parts, tooling, cables, connectors, and related materials.
6. Solid understanding of materials planning, inventory management, demand and supply planning, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is a plus.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
8. Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
