Job Description

• Sourcing

& Market intelligence Identify technology suppliers and future sources for China plants. Monitor market trends and identify and mitigate supply risks.

• Supply Chain Management: Develop local suppliers in technical capability, cost, quality, and lead time. Strengthen supply continuity through localization, second-source development, and cost reduction across assigned categories.
• Cost Reduction Compare sources and market trends to secure best total cost. Use cost analysis and market benchmarks to deliver annual savings targets. Deliver budgeted cost-reduction commitments. VAVE champion for Electronics and EMS related Negotiate supplier contracts and policies in line with global strategy.
• Commodity management Build up specific regional commodity strategy getting alignment with HQ commodity. Partner with R&D and Engineering to review specifications and influence sourcing decisions early in NOC projects.
• Leadership Coordinate execution with China plant buyers across Electronics and EMS categories. Good communication Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related discipline. At least 10+ years of industrial or automotive Purchasing experience Strong Electronics & EMS management and spot-buy practice is essential(must); Knowledge on ICT/FCT is a plus. Commodity strategy management and experience with Corporate. (must) Proven localization experience and fluent English for collaboration with overseas suppliers and corporate teams. (must) Strong project leadership and cross-functional communication skills. (must) Able to work under pressure and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
