Recruitment Guidelines for a Researcher

1. Position and Number of Openings

Researcher (Part-Time Staff): 1 position

2. Starting Date

As soon as possible on or after November 1, 2026

3. Contract Period

Until March 31, 2027

(The contract may be renewed based on work performance, up to a maximum of five years.)

The contract may be renewed based on work performance; however, the total period of

employment shall not exceed three years.

4. Terms and Conditions

Status: Part-time staff member of Kanazawa University, a National University Corporation

Salary: Paid in accordance with the Kanazawa University Regulations for Part-Time Staff

and other applicable regulations (hourly wage: JPY 1,700-2,080)

Bonus: None

Social Insurance: Not covered (Health Insurance and Employees' Pension Insurance)

Employment Insurance: Not covered

Leave, allowances, and other benefits shall be provided in accordance with the Kanazawa

University Regulations for Part-Time Staff and the Salary Regulations for Part-Time Staff.

Depending on work performance and changes in working hours, the employee may become

eligible for social insurance and employment insurance.

5. Place of Work

Kanazawa University, Institute of Science and Engineering, Division of Life Sciences and

Biotechnology

(Natural Science and Technology Building 1, Kakuma Campus, Kanazawa University)

6. Working Days

Four to five days per week, Monday through Friday (excluding national holidays)

Days off: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and December 29 through January 3

University-wide summer closure (3 days) and annual paid leave are provided.

7. Working Hours

Three hours per day, for a total of 15 hours per week, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Working hours may be discussed and adjusted by mutual agreement.

Depending on work performance, working hours may be increased to 20 hours or more per

week, in which case the employee may become eligible for various social insurance

programs.

8. Job Description

Conduct research experiments, analyze experimental data, and assist in preparing project

reports.

9. Qualifications

Applicants must have completed at least Master’s degree or higher.

Applicants must be able to communicate in English with other staff and faculty members.

Applicants who pass the document screening will be contacted individually regarding the

interview.

(Travel expenses for attending the interview must be borne by the applicant. Depending on

the circumstances, an online interview may be conducted.)

金沢大学理工学域 （バイオ工学分野） 研究員 募集要項

1．募集人員 研究員（パートタイム職員） １名

3．任 期 令和９年３月３１日まで （勤務実績により更新可能。ただし、最長５年。）

（勤務実績により更新予定あり。ただし，最長で３年まで。）

4．待 遇 身分：国立大学法人金沢大学非常勤職員

給与：非常勤職員就業規則等に基づき支給（時給 1,700～2,080 円），

賞与：無

社会保険の加入：無（健康保険及び厚生年金），雇用保険の適用：無

休暇，諸手当等については，非常勤職員就業規則，非常勤職員給与規程に定める

ところによる。

※ただし，勤務実績により社会保険の加入および雇用保険の適用が有となる可能

性あり。

5．勤 務 地 金沢大学理工研究域生命理工学系（金沢大学角間キャンパス 自然科学１号館）

6．勤 務 日 毎週 月～金曜日の４～５日間（祝日を除く）

休日：土曜日，日曜日，祝日，12 月 29 日から翌年 1 月 3 日

※夏季一斉休業（３日間），年次有給休暇有り

7．勤務時間 ８：３０～１７：００のうち 1 日３時間，週１５時間勤務

※勤務時間帯は応相談

※勤務実績により勤務時間（20 時間以上：各種保険対象）の変更予定あり。

8．職務内容 研究実験を行い、実験データを解析するとともに、プロジェクトの報告書作成を

補助する。

9．応募資格 修士課程修了以上

他職員・教員とコミュニケーションを英語で行える方。
