About the role

This role focuses on ensuring new food products comply with regulatory requirements from concept through launch. You will review and advise on food law for new products, assess formulations and ingredients against Thai and target country regulations, and manage product registration and licensing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and provide legal guidance on food regulations for new products from concept to launch
• Assess formulas, ingredients, and raw materials for compliance with Thai and target country laws
• Prepare, review, and manage food product registration and licensing applications
• Monitor and analyse relevant laws and regulatory requirements for new products
• Review labels and artwork for compliance with Thai and destination country regulations
• Review ingredient lists, nutrition facts, allergen information, warnings, and marketing/nutrition/health claims
• Provide regulatory guidance to R&D, Product Development, Marketing, and Quality teams before launch
• Collaborate with PD, QA, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and OEM teams to advance new product development projects
• Assess regulatory risk and provide guidance to prevent legal issues during product development
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and develop regulatory guidelines and SOPs

About you

• Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Food Law, Product Registration, or Food Compliance
• Experience with food law and product registration in Thailand
• Experience reviewing food labeling, nutrition labeling, and food claims
• Ability to analyse and interpret laws and assess regulatory risk for new products
• Proficiency in English for reading regulations, preparing documents, and communicating
• Strong coordination, project management, and problem-solving skills
