About the role

You'll lead reception at our small lagoon-side resort, helping us fill rooms, manage reservations effectively and deliver warm, attentive service from the first message to check-out. You'll turn enquiries into confirmed bookings through helpful recommendations, clear communication and timely follow-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Turn enquiries into confirmed bookings through helpful recommendations, clear communication and timely follow-ups
• Monitor room availability and booking patterns, spot gaps and suggest ways to improve occupancy and room revenue
• Manage direct bookings and online travel agency channels, keeping availability, rates and reservation details accurate
• Optimize reservations e.g. by recommending room upgrades, longer stays and relevant services that suit each guest
• Handle guest questions, special requests and complaints with patience, confidence and good judgement
• Oversee check-ins, check-outs, payments and reception handovers
• Guide the reception team and coordinate with housekeeping and the restaurant
• Help build practical booking and customer service procedures as we grow

About you

• Experience in hotel reception or reservations, with a track record of securing bookings

• Experience with Cloudbeds is a plus

• Confident English communication, both written and spoken

• Comfortable using booking systems and online travel agency platforms

• Organised and attentive to details, numbers and follow-ups

• Kind, hardworking and proactive, with the ability to stay calm when problems arise

• Ready to take ownership and help improve how we work

• Able to live and work on Koh Kood
