Key Responsibilities

• Lead project mobilisation and delivery planning, defining priorities, milestones, resource requirements and key deliverables.
• Coordinate relevant activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, according to the project scope.
• Monitor project progress, quality, budget and contractual obligations; identify risks and resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Lead the project team, allocate responsibilities and coordinate multidisciplinary resources across locations.
• Manage communication with clients, consortium partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear responsibilities and timely decisions.
• Prepare and review project reports, commercial documents and management updates in English, escalating significant issues with practical recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Railway Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Engineering Management, Transportation or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in rail transport, rolling stock, railway engineering, rail systems integration or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to take ownership of a project or a substantial project workstream.
• Proven experience leading project teams or multidisciplinary engineering teams, including work allocation, coordination and delivery management.
• Practical experience in one or more areas such as contract execution, engineering coordination, systems integration, procurement, construction, commissioning or maintenance.
• Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to independently participate in business meetings, communicate with international stakeholders and prepare project documentation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with accountability for results.
• International project experience and experience working with multicultural teams are preferred.
• Willingness to undertake overseas business travel or project assignments as required. Early availability is an advantage.
