The Advanced Network Lab (ANT) at National Chung Cheng University (CCU), Taiwan, invites applications for a full-time, on-site Postdoctoral Research Fellow position funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).

[Research Scope & Responsibilities]

• 6G Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) system-level performance evaluation.

• Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) algorithms (e.g., DDPG, PPO) for Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) and network optimization.

• Standard-compliant channel modeling and simulation frameworks (e.g., 3GPP TR 38.901, QuaDRiGa, Sionna, or custom MATLAB/Python environments).

• Preparing research manuscripts for submission to top-tier IEEE journals and conferences.

[Qualifications]

• Ph.D. degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (awarded or expected by Jan/Feb 2027).

• Strong mathematical background in wireless communication theory, signal processing, and optimization.

• Hands-on implementation and programming proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow).

• Proven track record of high-quality scholarly publications in recognized IEEE transactions or journals.

• Mandatory Requirement: Willingness and capability to relocate and work strictly FULL-TIME ON-SITE at CCU in Chiayi, Taiwan. (Remote working from abroad is strictly prohibited by national funding regulations).

[Compensation & Benefits]

• Standard NSTC postdoctoral package (approx. NT$ 64,270 per month, subject to statutory deductions).

• Labor insurance, national health insurance, and statutory benefits according to Taiwan regulations.

• Initial appointment with possibility of extension based on performance and project duration.
