Suvidha Assurance is recruiting on behalf of a reputed eye hospital in Kathmandu for an Ophthalmic Assistant. The role involves delivering comprehensive eye screening and vision-care services across community, school, and other settings. You will conduct eye screening, refraction, and ocular health checks across community and outreach settings, and should be competent in screening, refraction, treatment, counselling, referral, and data management.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

*Conduct visual acuity, refraction, and ocular health examinations

*Identify refractive errors, cataract, and common eye conditions, and refer patients appropriately

*Provide cataract post-op follow-up and spectacle dispensing

*Counsel patients, and handle data management and documentation

*PCL / Diploma in Ophthalmic Science, with valid NHPC registration
