Xcede have partnered with a rapidly scaling European AI company, valued in the 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 after a recent 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞-𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, who are hiring a Staff Software Engineer. They build the infrastructure behind 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞-𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and their platform already runs customer conversations at 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 for household-name brands across multiple industries.

You’ll shape engineering strategy and architecture while staying close to the code: scaling thousands of workloads on 𝐊𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬, pushing 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 to new lows and building 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. AI is the product, and this is a hands-on role in an ambiguous, high-stakes environment.

• Write 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲 and deliver real business value.
• Define and drive 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 across multiple teams and org-wide initiatives.
• Lead team architecture and make sure solutions scale globally for enterprise adoption, with reliability and resilience built in.
• Balance short-term velocity with long-term resilience, making smart trade-offs on complexity, cost and scalability.
• Stay 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧, whether that’s writing foundational code, leading design reviews or refactoring key systems.
• Serve as a 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, making sure engineering capacity matches market and customer demand.
