About the role

This role is responsible for factory quality control work, including streamlining production, testing, and packaging inspection standards, and updating operational inspection specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage factory quality control, streamline inspection standards (SIP) for production, testing, and packaging processes, and update operational inspection specifications
• Handle batch defects on production lines, incoming material anomalies, and outgoing inspection issues; lead 8D improvement reports, track implementation of corrective actions, and complete verification
• Interface with customer quality requirements, follow up on customer complaints and defective product returns analysis, provide quality improvement reports, and prevent recurrence of similar issues
• Oversee the full process of IQC incoming inspection, IPQC in-process inspection, FQC finished product inspection, and OQC outgoing inspection; standardise inspector operations
• Collect daily yield rate, defect rate, and scrap data; analyse top defect issues; collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement departments to optimise processes and materials
• Follow up on new model introduction: complete quality verification during trial production phase, identify potential risks, and output trial production quality reports
• Control inspection fixtures and testing equipment, complete regular calibration; oversee workshop quality 5S and defective product area management
• Facilitate cross-departmental communication: synchronise with production supervisors, team leaders, warehouse, and suppliers to drive quality improvements and reduce rework and scrap costs
