About the role

Responsible for daily maintenance, repair, and debugging of workshop automation equipment, test fixtures, and production line equipment. Quickly repair production line equipment failures to reduce downtime and ensure normal production operations. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance plans to extend equipment lifespan and reduce failure rates. Upgrade and modify equipment based on production site conditions, complete installation and debugging of new equipment to improve production efficiency. Manage equipment spare parts and inventory, regularly procure spare parts, and maintain spare parts records. Conduct skills training for equipment technicians and maintenance personnel, standardize equipment operation and maintenance procedures, and coordinate with external equipment manufacturers on major repairs, parts replacement, and technical modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and debug workshop automation equipment, test fixtures, and production line equipment on a daily basis
• Quickly repair production line equipment failures to reduce downtime and ensure normal production operations, and maintain equipment failure records
• Develop equipment maintenance plans (daily, weekly, monthly) and implement them to extend equipment lifespan and reduce failure rates
• Upgrade and modify equipment based on production site conditions, complete installation and debugging of new equipment, and improve production efficiency
• Manage equipment spare parts and inventory, regularly procure spare parts, and maintain spare parts records
• Conduct skills training for equipment technicians and maintenance personnel, standardize equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Coordinate with external equipment manufacturers on equipment major repairs, parts replacement, and technical modifications

About you

• Malaysian nationality required, fluent in English and Chinese, diploma or above education, priority given to those with background in mechatronics, automation, or electronics
• 5 or more years of experience in equipment maintenance or equipment engineering in electronics manufacturing
• Familiar with electrical automation control principles, proficient in PLC, motor, and sensor troubleshooting methods, capable of independent disassembly and repair
• Proficient in using relevant drawing software (Pro-E, SolidWorks, UG – proficiency in at least one required)
• Strong hands-on ability, strong stress resistance, and sense of responsibility
• One month training at China headquarters required after joining
