About the role

This is a trainee foreman position in construction management. You will learn and assist in managing construction site operations in accordance with project plans, blueprints, and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and assist in managing construction site operations according to plans, blueprints, and budget
• Supervise and monitor sub-contractors and workers on site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Verify accuracy and quantity of construction materials on site
• Assist in preparing project progress reports
• Coordinate with mentors and relevant departments (architects, engineers, and procurement) to support smooth site operations

About you

• Currently studying for a bachelor's degree or higher vocational certificate (HVEC) in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others
• Able to read engineering/architectural drawings and use basic computer programs
• Responsible, enthusiastic, and flexible in work performance
• Eager to learn on-the-job and apply theoretical knowledge to practical work
• Able to support construction quality control, meet schedules, and help reduce errors on site
