• Lead logistics digitalization initiatives: Identify import/export process pain points, manual handoffs, data gaps, documentation risks, and recurring exceptions; translate them into practical digital improvement opportunities.
• Design practical automation and workflow solutions: Work with logistics users, IT, vendors, and shared service teams to develop or improve workflows, trackers, dashboards, templates, RPA, Power Platform solutions, or system enhancements that reduce manual effort and improve execution discipline.
• Apply AI to logistics operations: Explore and deploy practical AI use cases such as document checking, declaration data validation, exception classification, reporting support, knowledge search, and operational decision support.
• Improve data visibility and reporting: Build or support dashboards, shipment trackers, payment reports, VAT and duty analysis, exception reports, and management views that help teams monitor progress, identify risks, and make timely decisions.
• Connect digital solutions with daily import/export execution: Use strong understanding of customs declaration, trade mode review, broker coordination, shipment follow-up, duty-paid applications, and payment support to ensure digital solutions solve real operational problems.
• Drive process standardization and control: Define clear working steps, data standards, follow-up routines, exception handling rules, and reporting templates to strengthen compliance, accuracy, and consistency across import/export activities.
• Support system enhancement and user adoption: Represent logistics requirements in discussions related to SAP, Ariba, SPAS, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, RPA, or similar tools; support testing, rollout, user guidance, and adoption tracking.
• Coordinate stakeholders to deliver improvements: Lead working discussions with logistics users, customs brokers, finance, procurement, engineering, IT, vendors, and business teams to align requirements, assign actions, remove blockers, and ensure solutions are implemented.
• Maintain operational support when needed: Support complex import/export cases, customs documentation review, broker follow-up, shipment exception handling, and reporting activities to stay close to the daily operation and validate improvement opportunities. 2 Qualifications 2.1 Bachelor’s degree or above in logistics, supply chain, international trade, information systems, data analytics, business administration, engineering, finance, or a related field. 2.2 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, import/export processes, customs declaration, trade compliance, supply chain systems, process improvement, digitalization, automation, or data analytics. 2.3 Solid understanding of import/export workflows, customs documentation, broker coordination, trade mode review, bonded and duty-paid operations, shipment follow-up, exception handling, and logistics reporting. 2.4 Demonstrated experience leading or participating in digitalization projects, such as workflow automation, dashboard development, RPA, Power Platform solutions, system enhancement, data standardization, or process redesign. 2.5 Strong ability to analyze operational pain points, define business requirements, map processes, propose practical solutions, and follow through from idea to implementation. 2.6 Working knowledge of AI or automation applications in business operations, such as AI-assisted document review, reporting automation, knowledge search, exception classification, predictive analysis, or chatbot/workflow solutions. 2.7 Strong data analysis and reporting capability, with practical experience using Excel and exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Python, SQL, RPA, SAP, Ariba, SPAS, or similar tools preferred. 2.8 Good project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align logistics users, brokers, finance, procurement, engineering, IT, vendors, and business teams around improvement actions. 2.9 Good communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to explain operational problems, translate business needs into system requirements, and support user adoption. 2.10 Proactive, digital-minded, practical, detail-oriented, willing to learn new tools, and able to manage multiple priorities while staying close to daily operations.
