About the role

Establish and maintain relationships with banks, expand trade financing channels, primarily liaising with domestic and Hong Kong banks, manage bank credit lines, and conduct trade financing strategy research. Handle domestic trade settlement of bulk commodities, international trade foreign exchange settlement, and improve trade financing returns. Manage foreign exchange derivative trading, foreign currency certificates of deposit, foreign exchange swaps, forwards, options and other instruments. Allocate and comprehensively manage funds, control operational risks, and assess exchange rate trends. Handle bank credit applications and maintenance, manage bulk commodity imports and exports, conduct hedging, and manage risk offsetting. Manage foreign exchange position risks, control position limits, direction, and varieties of financing risks.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and expand relationships with domestic and Hong Kong banks, manage bank credit lines and trade financing strategies
• Handle domestic trade settlement of bulk commodities and international trade foreign exchange settlement
• Manage foreign exchange derivative trading including foreign currency certificates of deposit, foreign exchange swaps, forwards and options
• Allocate and comprehensively manage funds, control operational risks and assess exchange rate trends
• Process bank credit applications, maintain relationships and manage bulk commodity imports and exports
• Conduct hedging and risk offsetting activities
• Manage foreign exchange position risks and control position limits, direction and varieties

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 5-10 years of work experience in bulk commodities or related industries
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese
• Established banking relationships and resources
• Thorough understanding and familiarity with bank financing, credit facilities and low-risk business operations
