CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Floor shifts run on a 12-hour rotation with steady routines across morning and evening handoffs. CNAs handle direct resident care and assist with mobility alongside assigned floor nurses. Shifts focus on consistent bed checks and timely response to call lights throughout the hall.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hr, depending on experience
• Schedule: 12-Hr (6a-6p / 6p-6a)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Record vitals and report status updates directly to licensed nursing staff during shift handoffs.
• Help residents move safely around the unit using proper transfer techniques and gait belts.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and deliver direct bedside care as requested.
• Keep resident rooms stocked with fresh linens and essential care items.
• Document daily care, meal intake, and fluid output in electronic records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Must pass a standard criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
