CNA — Certified Nursing Assistant

Maya Home Health Care is a locally owned, Nurse Practitioner-led home health care company serving families throughout Northern Virginia. We are growing and looking for compassionate, dependable CNAs who want consistent assignments and a supportive team.

We are especially interested in caregivers seeking 8-12 hour shifts and up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Provide mobility, transfer and ambulation assistance
• Assist with meals, hydration and feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Support clients with dementia and memory-related needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Follow the individualized plan of care

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and professional
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Strong communication skills
• Dementia and transfer experience preferred
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screening
