CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Pennsylvania License Required)

Saint John 23rd Home is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a critical role in the daily care and well-being of our residents. You will work closely with nursing and healthcare teams to provide direct patient care, ensure a safe and supportive environment, and improve the quality of life for our residents.

• Pay based on Experience, competitive starting rates
• $1 Weekend shift differential for all shifts
• $1 Afternoon shift Differential

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility).
• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, condition, and progress in accordance with care plans.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of residents by following care protocols and guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment for residents and their families.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with residents.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans effectively.
• A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives.
• Must be able to lift and assist residents with mobility and other physical tasks as needed.
