Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and transfer methods
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring accurate medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
• Assist healthcare professionals with clinical procedures including phlebotomy, catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and aseptic techniques
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical records and documentation
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively to update patient information and ensure seamless communication across care teams
• Safely perform manual handling tasks and patient transfers using appropriate techniques to prevent injury for both patients and staff

Skills

• Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as critical care units (ICU), emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or long-term care facilities
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems or similar electronic health record platforms like Cerner or eClinicalWorks
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and infection control practices including aseptic technique
• Experience caring for geriatric patients or those with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or memory impairments in settings like nursing homes or assisted living communities
• Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) including CPR and respond effectively in urgent or trauma situations such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma experience
• Skilled in patient transfer methods using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while adhering to safe lifting practices and heavy lifting protocols
• Excellent caregiver communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate patient service across pediatric to adult populations
