What they need
We are looking for dedicated 7-3 or 11-7 Shift Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. The role consists of assisting residents with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- provide direct resident care (ADL care)
- assist residents with personal hygiene, feeding and mobility
- monitor and report changes in resident health status to the licensed nurses
- follow proper infection control techniques
- work with a diverse population of residents including different languages, individuals requiring behavioral health support and those with infectious diseases
Skills include, but not limited to the following:
- Current California C.N.A. certificate
- experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities as a C.N.A. preferred
- comfortable working with residents (short term care and long term care)
- ability to lift and move residents safely
- responsible
- able to work a 4/2 schedule and flexibility with extra shifts as needed
