Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis, with shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Additionally, PRN (as needed) CNAs are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working within a supportive team environment.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care by assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
• Assist with patient transfers using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other transfer methods.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff.
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and safe lifting practices.
• Foster compassionate communication with residents and their families, promoting dignity and respect at all times.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification in accordance with state regulations; prior experience as a CNA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working in long-term care facilities, skilled nursing centers, or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively using proper manual handling techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with residents, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is advantageous; experience in hospice or memory care is also valued.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
