What they need
The Office of Continuing Education and Workforce Development at Queensborough Community College is seeking a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Instructor/Educator to serve as Preceptor at the Chapin Home for the Aging.
The Preceptor would supervise the clinical rotations for students for two weeks in November: November 2 - 6, and then from November 9-13th, from 8 am - 2 pm.
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:
- RN license and at least two years of RN experience, one of which should be in a nursing home or long-term care facility; and
- Certification to teach nurse aide; OR two years of experience teaching nurse aides in a nursing home.
