Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Medication reminders, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
• Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing memory care techniques to promote comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and safe lifting practices when transferring patients using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the applicable state.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or behavioral health care.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate caregiving while effectively collaborating with a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe lifting practices to ensure patient safety at all times.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
