Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as adherence to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of health information.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist clients in mobility and transportation for appointments or errands within the community.
• Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals while respecting client preferences and dignity.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive patient information.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and systems relevant to home health settings.
• Experience in caregiving, particularly in long-term care or senior care environments.
• Ability to launder clothing and linens effectively while maintaining hygiene standards.
• Familiarity with home community care practices that promote client independence.
• Excellent cleaning skills to ensure a tidy living space for clients.
• Proficient in monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in client health status.
• Compassionate communication skills to engage effectively with clients and their families.
