CNA/HHA

Overview
As a CNA/HHA, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to kids. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting children with daily living activities, monitoring their health status, and ensuring their overall well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is skilled in pediatric patient care. Must have one (1) year experience in the care of infants and toddlers. Hold a current certification in pediatric CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Provide basic housekeeping services including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of clients while promoting independence in their daily routines.

Skills

• Proficient in patient observation and assessment techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to caregiving and patient care.
• Pediatric CPR certification is highly desirable along with experience in infants/toddlers care.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require long-term care support.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Competence in cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
