Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care in a comfortable and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Observe and report on patients' conditions, including any changes in health status.
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client needs.

Skills

• Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for clients.
• Familiarity with various caregiving systems and tools used in home health settings.
• Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to connect with clients effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately while respecting client privacy and dignity.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
