CNA/Office Assistant

• Provide compassionate patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, catheter care, and basic life support, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
• Assist with activities of daily living such as mobility support using Hoyer lifts, personal hygiene, and feeding for patients with diverse needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, or behavioral health conditions
• Support clinical teams by preparing examination rooms, handling medical supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques during procedures such as phlebotomy and medical documentation
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Cerner and eClinicalWorks to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
• Coordinate office tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence to streamline clinic operations
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver clear updates on care plans and treatment progress
• Uphold HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all privacy standards

• Prior experience working in medical offices or healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
• Demonstrated critical care experience in environments like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers enhances your ability to handle complex cases with confidence
• Experience with specialized care such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, behavioral health, or hospice care is advantageous
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques supports effective patient care delivery
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner or eClinicalWorks is a plus for maintaining accurate medical records
• Previous caregiving roles involving pediatrics or geriatrics showcase your versatility and dedication to diverse patient populations
• Certification in basic life support (BLS) or other relevant healthcare training underscores your readiness to respond in emergency situations
