We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our night shift nursing team at Eldorado Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Eldorado, IL. Our night shift CNAs play an essential role in assisting residents with their overnight needs, promoting comfort and independence, and maintaining a safe, supportive, and peaceful environment throughout the night.

• Pay Rate: $18.00–$24.50 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care to residents throughout the night.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as directed by nursing staff.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to the nursing team.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other resident information as assigned.
• Assist residents with nighttime routines and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Perform regular resident checks as directed by nursing staff and facility procedures.
• Maintain clean, comfortable, and organized resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with hydration, snacks, and other resident needs as appropriate.
• Follow individualized resident care plans and instructions from licensed nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures and facility safety guidelines.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, independence, and overall well-being.
• Communicate important resident updates and concerns to incoming nursing staff during shift changes.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of quality care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to resident care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents with mobility and transfers.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to resident needs and emergencies.
• Must be available to work the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM night shift.
