VMC Operator

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production requirements.
• Set up machines, workpieces, tools, fixtures, and offsets.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Load and unload components safely and accurately.
• Set and adjust cutting tools, tool offsets, and machine parameters.
• Monitor the machining process and maintain required production targets.
• Inspect finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Identify machining defects and report machine/process issues to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Follow production, quality, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.
• Fresher and Experience as a VMC Operator is preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations and basic machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions/tolerances.
• Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, and basic machine parameters.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Good attention to quality and measurements.
