CNC Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate and maintain CNC machines & Manual Lathe machines to perform precision machining operations

• Fanuc & Haas control

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, tables and specifications to determine machining operations

• Maintain, Repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments

• Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and modify parts as needed

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning

• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles

• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e/g., Micrometers, calipers)

• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately
• Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
