CNC Lathe Operator Level 2 (2nd Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
• Machines include: Okuma TURN T, TURN TM, and Turn LT series.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Maintain machine cleanliness, document production, and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience operating CNC lathes, preferably on multi-axis machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and G-code; basic program editing preferred.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
