CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator

Zhongding Cadillac Tool & Die LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision molds used in plastic and rubber injection molding and other manufacturing processes. Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) per procedure
• Load raw materials and verify machine setup (tools, offsets, programs)
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Monitor machine operations and make basic adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Perform minor maintenance and keep machines clean and operational
• Deburr, clean, and prepare parts for the next process
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
• Communicate issues with supervisors and team members
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency
• Perform any other job-related duties as requested by your manager/supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
• Use hands and arms to handle materials, tools, and equipment
• Lift up-to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently
• Perform repetitive motions including bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
• Maintain visual acuity sufficient to inspect parts and safely operate equipment
• Work in an industrial setting with exposure to noise, metal chips, and moving machinery

Required Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis)
• Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming basics
• Experience with tooling setup and offsets
• Knowledge of machine materials such as metals or plastics
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards
• Experience with Mastercam

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Mastercam: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC lathe: 1 year (Preferred)
