What they need

Own the Turning Process — De Pere, WI

Are you the kind of machinist who enjoys taking a print, planning the cut, and seeing perfect parts come off the lathe? In our modern, team-driven shop, you’ll program, set up, and run CNC lathes to deliver components that meet exact specifications—every time.

Picture This

You receive a new job packet. You study the blueprint, choose tools, and set the machine. You write or tweak G-code, run a first article, verify dimensions, and then watch the process repeat with consistent results. When something drifts, you spot it fast—making smart adjustments, performing quick maintenance, and keeping the schedule on track. Along the way, you share ideas with the team to make the next run even better.

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
  • Read and interpret drawings/blueprints to determine machining approach.
  • Monitor machining cycles; adjust offsets and parameters to maintain quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Inspect finished work for accuracy and compliance with specs.
  • Partner with teammates to enhance process reliability and efficiency.
  • Keep your workspace clean and organized for safety and productivity.
