Job SummaryA CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator sets up, loads, and runs automated manufacturing machinery. They turn raw materials into precision components for aerospace, automotive, medical, and defense industries.Key Responsibilities

• Set Up: Load raw materials, align parts, and install drills or fixtures into the machinery.
• Operation: Start test runs, run production cycles, and adjust cutting speeds or feed rates.
• Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect finished parts against blueprints.
• Maintenance: Clean machines, replace worn tooling, and top off cutting fluids or lubricants.
• Documentation: Record production counts, log material defects, and note tool wear patterns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or mechanical trade certification.
• Solid understanding of basic math, geometry, and technical blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
• Strong attention to safety protocols and protective gear requirements.

Role Variations

• CNC Operator: Focuses on loading material, running existing programs, and inspecting parts.
• CNC Machinist: Sets up complex jobs, edits programs at the machine, and troubleshoots errors.
• CNC Programmer: Writes the underlying code (G-code) using CAD/CAM software from scratch.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹34,068.84 per month
