CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring precision in production, and performing maintenance tasks to keep equipment and other machineries in optimal condition. A background in Industrial Technology is preferred, as it provides the necessary technical knowledge and skills for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• CNC Machine Operation:
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
• Quality Control:
• Assist in conducting regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and address any issues or defects in the production process promptly.
• Maintenance Tasks:
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machine and other equipments, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues, coordinating with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs as needed.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production quantities, and maintenance activities.
• Update work orders and production logs as required.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to management immediately.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, etc) or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Skills:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge in drafting tools is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Work Environment

• The CNC Operator will work in a manufacturing/production environment that may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times while on the shop floor.
• Place of work: Recycling Plant in Muntinlupa (RMT Industrial Complex), Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php17,000.00 per month
