Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Bideford, North Devon

Salary: £13.00–£13.50 per hour (£27,040–£28,080 per annum approx.)

Job Type: Full-time

Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
• Total: 40 hours per week

Introduction:
We are a busy, well-established joinery business specializing in bespoke cabinet making. We are looking for a motivated CNC Machine Operator who values hard work, attention to detail, and has a strong work ethic. The right candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Assist cabinet makers and other workshop team members with various tasks.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping around the workshop.
• Support other areas of the workshop, including packing and loading.
• Problem-solve independently when issues arise.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in cabinet making, joinery, or CNC operation is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of CAD software or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills within the joinery and cabinet making trade.
