Structural Steel CNC Operator

As a Structural Steel CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery specifically designed for processing structural steel components. Your role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to fabricate steel parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare CNC machinery for operation by loading necessary tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
• Input program specifications into CNC machines using specialized software tailored for structural steel fabrication.
• Handle and position structural steel components accurately within the CNC machine, ensuring proper alignment and clamping for machining operations.
• Monitor the operation of CNC machines during fabrication processes, including cutting, drilling, milling, and punching, to ensure precision and quality in the finished parts.
• Inspect fabricated steel parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tool changes and material usage.
• Work closely with other members of the fabrication team, including welders, fitters, and supervisors, to coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines are met.

Pay: €18.00-€25.00 per hour
