JOB VACANCY: CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in furniture manufacturing to operate and maintain CNC machines used for cutting, drilling, routing, and shaping wood, MDF, plywood, and other furniture materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for furniture production, including cutting, routing, drilling, and engraving.
• Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications.
• Set up machines, load materials, and select appropriate tools and machine parameters.
• Read and execute CNC programs and CAD/CAM files for accurate production.
• Ensure all cut components meet required dimensions and quality standards.
• Inspect finished components for accuracy and report defects.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Minimise material waste and ensure efficient use of production materials.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience operating CNC machines, preferably in furniture manufacturing or woodworking.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, Industrial Production, or a related field is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of CNC routers, cutting machines, and woodworking equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measurement tools accurately.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to production quality.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 per month
