Located in Croydon, Hargo Engineering is an AS9100 certified precision CNC manufacturing company that manufactures components for customers in the global defence, aerospace, oil & gas, medical, automotive and security sectors.  We are an Australian owned and operated manufacturer with a global reputation for delivering components of exceptional quality.

We are currently seeking to fill two full time CNC Setter positions to spearhead the manufacture of high precision components for our global customers.   This is an exciting opportunity to apply your trade and leadership skills to high-profile projects, grow your career, and enjoy a balanced and rewarding work life.

Key Responsibilities:

 What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications/experience in CNC repetition machining.
• Fully capable of interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection, measuring & test equipment.
• Awareness of the company’s product, market and its management systems ( quality, OH&S, etc)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacture parts to exacting tolerances
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks)
• Experience working within an accredited quality system
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to adapt to changing projects and priorities

Hours:

This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week.

• Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 3.30pm.
• Friday 7.00am – 1.00pm.

Eligibility:

• Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain the required Australian Security clearance. Continued employment beyond the six-month probationary period is conditional on being granted the appropriate clearance
• Must satisfy police checks and employment screening verification including employment reference checks
• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulation (ITAR) which in some circumstances can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1
