CNC Machine Operator, Stone Fabrication

Job Summary

Operate CNC machinery to cut and shape natural stone, engineered quartz, and porcelain slabs to specification. You’ll help deliver accurate, well-finished pieces by following production drawings and working safely with CNC machines like Saso K600.

The Role

Based in our Warehouse in Ansty, Haywards Heath you will be operating a variety of high-quality precision CNC machines to cut and polish marble, granite as well as quartz slabs. Your role will involve uploading digital templates, following processes, loading and unloading components, safe operation of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling equipment
• Read CAD drawings and use digital templating files for precision production.
• Measure, inspect and finish stone components; use grinding tools to refine edges and surfaces.
• Support assembly and carry out basic equipment checks using hand tools and power tools.
• Your impact: Accurate machining and careful finishing help customers receive stone components that fit their intended designs.

Requirements

• Previous knowledge of cutting stone is essential
• Practical mechanical knowledge, basic maths skills and confidence using hand tools.
• Experience with CNC operation, milling, grinding, tooling or stone fabrication is essential
• CAD or SolidWorks experience is preferred;
• Able to follow technical instructions, check work carefully and maintain a safe, tidy workspace.
