Total Furniture Restoration (TFR) is an Orlando-based company specializing in furniture restoration, refinishing, upholstery, and millwork, both in our shop and on-site at our clients' locations. We are a growing, bilingual team that takes pride in craftsmanship, safety, and doing things right the first time.

Position summary

TFR is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator/Technician to set up and operate CNC machinery for furniture production and restoration. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality and safety.

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
• Load materials, tools, and CNC programs.
• Adjust machine settings and programs as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality against drawings and specifications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures (PPE, dust and machine-guarding rules).
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery (CNC routers for wood preferred).
• Basic mechanical and computer skills; ability to read drawings and measurements.
• Experience with woodworking or furniture manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (for example Vectric, VCarve, or Fusion 360) is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Experience

• 2+ years operating CNC equipment in a production environment.
• Set-up, tooling, and program-editing experience places you at the top of the range.
