CNC Machine Setter/Operator

We have a requirement for a CNC Machine Setter / Operator . You will be responsible for operating and setting of CNC vertical milling machine , previous experience of Hurco control advantageous and a practical working experience of CAD/CAM software required .

The Role

• Set, operate and programme CNC Hurco winmax milling machines.
• Programme offline using Fusion or Edgecam CAM packages.
• Manufacture precision machined components to engineering drawings.
• Make programme and tooling adjustments as required to optimise machining performance and product quality.

Applicant requirements.

• Previous CAM experience is essential, Edgecam or Fusion preferable.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, fixture design and process control.
• Confident in using precision measuring equipment.
• Relevant time served experience as a CNC Miller
• A minimum three years experience working in a machine shop environment
• Shifts Weekdays ( Some Flexibility in working hours )Job Types: Full-time

Pay: From £19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
